With about 300 enclosures for Reptiles, Amphibians, spider, and
Inverts in the shop, and separate purpose built breeding facility, a second breeding
facility was added early Jan 2000 Animal Allsorts is probably the biggest retailer of reptiles
in the North-East and one of the biggest reptile retailers in the UK.
Animal Allsorts has now been in business for over seven years and has
built up an enviable reputation for carrying a large stock of high quality
reptiles. We maintain the more common varieties at our
shop so visitors can expect to find what they want and select the particular
animal which catches their eye. It's unusual for us to be out of stock of any
of the common breeds but, unlike consumer durables, stocks of livestock, as may
be appreciated, cannot be maintained as would be possible for non-livestock items.
We wish to promote ethical and responsible ownership of reptiles and
amphibians as such we strictly comply with all the relevant legislation
covering the care and well being of our livestock which are regularly inspected
by the local authority and the RSPCA have an open invitation to call, which
they do from time to time. Strict compliance with CITES regulations is
assured. As enthusiasts ourselves, we are concerned to ensure that our
customers are as well informed as possible when purchasing from us.
We have recently added a computer system for customers to view our web site,
or retrieve information on thousands of reptiles.
