Common
Corn Snake
Elaphe guttata guttata Corn snakes
make beautiful, docile pets, and are an ideal first reptile
purchase. Most of our common corns are heterozygous for one or more
recessive traits, so you may be in for a pleasant surprise if you
breed them with other colors or patterns. If we showed you images of
100 common corn snakes, no two would be alike. They are highly
variable in color and pattern.

Amelanistic
Corn Snake Elaphe guttata guttata Amelanistic
corn snakes, also called red albinos, are beautiful snakes that lack
the black pigments of a normal corn snake.
|
| |
Anerythristic
A Corn Snake Elaphe guttata guttata
Anerythristic corn snakes lack the red pigment of the common
variety, leaving a mostly black, gray, and white snake. These are
the 'A' type anerythristics, which have some yellow pigmentation.
|
| |
Anerythristic
Zig Zag Corn Snake Elaphe guttata guttata This
unusual pattern morph, sometimes referred to as the zipper corn, is
becoming popular to mix with other colored corns. This is the type B
or charcoal and is still rather uncommon in collections. We should
have other colors of the zig zag patterns available this season.
|
| |
Banded
Corn Snake Elaphe guttata guttata These
animals resemble a California kingsnake, but they have NO king
blood.
|
| |
Banded
Creamsicle Corn Snake Elaphe guttata guttata x
emoryi Orange or yellow bands on a white, yellow, or orange
background.
|
| |
Blizzard
Corn Snake Elaphe guttata guttata Like snow
corns, but most have no yellow pigment.
|
| |
Blood
Corn (Rosy) Elaphe guttata guttata This is a
blood corn that has been outcrossed with a Florida Keys corn. The
colors are influenced by the typical gold colors of the Keys
corn.
|
| |
Blood
Corn Snake Elaphe guttata guttata Adults are a
stunning red with bright white underside. The markings usually fade
and in some cases are nearly impossible to see in mature
individuals.
|
| |
Blood Corn Snake (Out-Crossed) Elaphe guttata
guttata The blood corn is one of the few if not the only
exception to predictable recessive traits. When a blood corn is bred
to other recessive or normal corns, the first generation of
offspring resemble blood corns, but are not pure blood corns.
Usually, the belly of the outcrossed corns have black on them. This
is a sign they are not pure blood corns. |
| |
Blood
Corn Snake (Pewter) Elaphe guttata guttata
Just when you thought we couldn't improve the blood corn, along
comes the pewter. This is the combination of the charcoal
(anerythristic "B") with the blood corn gene.
|
| |
Butter
Corn Snake Elaphe guttata guttata Beautiful
albino corns that lack the red color pigment. This is the double
recessive of the carmel and amelanistic corn snake. Some have no
white around the markings as result of the amelanistic with the
hypomelanistic carmel influence.
|
| |
Butterscotch
Corn Snake Elaphe guttata guttata A
classically marked corn that appears to have been dipped in
butterscotch topping.
|
| |
Candy
Cane Corn Snake Elaphe guttata guttata Red or
orange markings on a white background. The white background turns
slightly orange in some individuals at maturity.
|
| |
Candy
Cane Corn Snake (Orange) Elaphe guttata guttata
A new spin on the amelanistic corn. This beauty is the result of
generations of selective breeding. It's pure corn snake and the
white background is the best we've seen. This is a great project
snake for cleaning up the ground colors of your other projects.
|
| |
Charcoal
Corn Snake (Anery. B) Elaphe guttata guttata
These Anerythristic type 'B' snakes are lacking the yellow color
pigment usually found in all corn snakes. This morph is the starter
for blizzard corns.
|
| |
Creamsicle
Corn Snake Elaphe guttata guttata x emoryi
"Soft" orange markings on a yellow or light orange
background.
|
| |
Creamsicle
Corn Snake (Frosted) E. guttata guttata X E. obsoleta
spiloides This creamsicle has more of an open marking and a
white or yellow speckling that gives it a frosted appearance. It is
reportedly a cross of the amelanistic corn and the gray rat
snake.
|
| |
Creamsicle
Corn Snake (Yellow) Elaphe guttata guttata x
emoryi Yellow markings on a yellow background like the
Butter corn, but ours have Emory's blood in them. Very large
hatchlings.
|
| |
Crimson
Corn Snake Elaphe guttata guttata The crimson
is a beautiful red hypomelanistic corn. Many of ours are boldly
banded and their colors are getting better with every generation.
The babies this year are lighter and brighter than any we've
produced. If you're looking for a corn to reduce melanin in your
existing projects, this is the one for you.
|
| |
Ghost
Corn Snake Elaphe guttata guttata Ghostly pale
anerythristic looking corn, a combination of hypomelanism and
anerythrism type "A".
|
| |
Hypo.
Miami Phase Corn Snake Elaphe guttata guttata
One of our most popular corn snake morphs. They are the classic
miami phase color scheme with greatly reduced black.
|
| |
Hypomelanistic
Corn Snake Elaphe guttata guttata These corns
have almost no black pigment. The only black on most individuals is
restricted to their bellies and sometimes hard to see.
|
| |
Kisatchie
Corn Snake Elaphe guttata guttata This darkly
colored corn comes from Louisiana and surrounding states. It is
thought to be a cross between the Emory's rat snake and the red rat
snake. Ongoing research will hopefully prove or disprove this
theory. This race is one of the darkest colored naturally occurring
corns in the wild.
|
| |
Lavender
Corn Snake Elaphe guttata guttata Like the
anerythristic, but much lighter and lavender in shade. This morph
has reddish eyes and makes a great project corn since we're just
getting it bred into the other established color and pattern morphs.
We still do not know all the possibilities of new corns that will be
created when mixing this corn snake gene with the others.

Motley
Amel. Banded Corn Snake Elaphe guttata guttata
We have worked for years to perfect the banding on some of our
motleys. This is the first color phase we have been successful with,
but more will surely come. We think this is the most exciting new
motley to appear in a long time.
|
| |
Motley
Amelanistic Corn Snake Elaphe guttata guttata
These amelanistic snakes also possess the motley pattern.
|
| |
Motley
Anerythristic Corn Snake
Elaphe guttata guttata
Anerythristic type "A" with the motley pattern.
|
| |
Motley
Corn Snake Elaphe guttata guttata These
animals have a recessive trait that causes a mostly patternless
underside. The dorsal markings are somewhat connected with lines
forming on parts off the back.
|
| |
Motley
Pastel Corn Snake Elaphe guttata guttata
Motley markings in soft pastel shades of gray. Males are mostly
pink as adults.
|
| |
Motley
Snow Corn Snake Elaphe guttata guttata Snow
phase corns with the motley pattern.
|
| |
Motley
Striped Corn Snake Elaphe guttata guttata
Motley, with a partial stripe and the origin of our fully
striped corns.
|
| |
Motley
Sunglow Corn Snake Elaphe guttata guttata If
you're impressed with the colors of the sunglow corn, be prepared
for this one. Sun motleys are the most intensely colored corns we
produce.
|
| |
Okeetee
Corn Snake Elaphe guttata guttata The
"classic" corn with rich orange colors. Truly the most beautiful
naturally occuring corn.
|
| |
Okeetee
Corn Snake (Hypo.) Elaphe guttata guttata
Combine the beauty of the Okeetee with the hypomelanistic trait
and you get this beauty. On most individuals the black has been
replaced with gray. There is a much richer and cleaner red on this
snake than on it's counterpart, the Okeetee.
|
| |
Reverse
Okeetee Corn Snake Elaphe guttata guttata This
is the amelanistic version of the beautiful Okeetee phase corn
snake. Their striking features are the intense and contrasting
colors and broad white margins around the markings.
|
| |
Snow
Corn Snake Elaphe guttata guttata These snakes
combine the amelanistic and anerythristic type "A" traits, causing
them to lack both red and black pigment. The result is a mostly
white animal with yellow highlights. Some of our snows have flesh
tones instead of yellow.
|
| |
Snow
Corn Snake (Pink & Green) Elaphe guttata
guttata Adults have a lot of obvious pink and/or green.
Referred to on some sites as bubblegum corns. Photographs cannot
accurately show the richness of the pink and green colors. It's hard
to call this a snow.
|
| |
Striped
Amelanistic Corn Snake Elaphe guttata guttata
Typically colored amelanistic corns that have broad longitudinal
dorsal stripes. Some have faint cross-hatch markings in a few
places.
|
| |
Striped
Anerythristic Corn Snake Elaphe guttata guttata
Anerythristic type "A" corn snakes with broad longitudinal
dorsal stripes. Some have faint cross-hatch markings in a few
places.
|

Striped
Corn Snake Elaphe guttata guttata These corns
have broad longitudinal dorsal stripes. Some have faint cross-hatch
markings in a few places.
|
| |
Sunglow
Corn Snake Elaphe guttata guttata These
amelanistic have striking orange color contrast with little or no
white margins. Most of ours have NO white as adults.
