NETS is the Northern England Tortoise Society.

NETS are a voluntary organization, set up to provide friendly help and advise on all aspects of tortoise care.

Our Aim is to promote the general health and well being of tortoises by way of a telephone help line, regular open days and informative newsletters.

We promote conservation through education and by supporting captive breeding programs.

We also have a sanctuary where we care for sick, injured and unwanted tortoises.
